This pattern is very old and autochtonous. The kilim was named “the bombs” after the association with the nice compounded hand bombs in a soldier’s case. Around the field there is a “ćenar” (a pattern next to the edge between the plate and the middle) with the motif of queen’s sleeve and the plate of turtles. It is made in all sizes.
