The Rašić’s pattern
The colonel Rašić who was in the escord of th King Milan Obrenović, at the end of the 19th century, brought a sample of the pattern, that was accepted by the women-weavers. The basic motif are
concentric rhombuses ending on the ends along an axis by tapeze surfaces filled with little dented rhomboids with hooks, small balls and crosses. There is a “soveljka” pattern in
the middle and around it some little dinig-tables (“sofrice”). The form is geometric with precize proportions, with a lot of details and a great number of colours.
